Send an email or SMS campaign
Create, configure and launch a marketing campaign from the Messaging page.

The Marketing → Messaging tab lets you send campaigns to your contact base.
Steps
- Marketing → Messaging → Create campaign.
- Set the name (internal, hidden from recipients).
- Pick the channel: Email, SMS, or both.
- Select a segment (filter on your contact base) or all eligible contacts.
- Pick or create a template (email/SMS model).
- Schedule the campaign: immediate send, specific date, or automation (welcome, monthly, segment).
- Click "Launch".

A "both" campaign first sends the email then the SMS to the same contact, provided both consents are present.
Anti-spam caps
Independently from your credit balance:
- 500 emails maximum / month,
- 200 SMS maximum / month.
When you hit a cap, Skuads silently skips the send for that contact (no error) and continues with the other channels available. The counter resets on the 1st of the month.
The automatic SMS reply for missed calls (Dexem) is not subject to this cap.
GDPR consent
Skuads never sends a marketing email/SMS to a contact who has not given consent. This is set per contact via:
consent_email(email send authorisation),consent_sms(SMS send authorisation).
When you import contacts via CSV, the app asks you to confirm you obtained consent from each contact. This responsibility is yours — Skuads is only the technical provider.
Personalisation
In the email or SMS body you can use:
:name— contact's name,:email— contact's email,:phone— contact's phone.
Unsubscribe
Each email contains an unsubscribe link automatically, and each SMS contains an "Unsubscribe from SMS: …" message. Unsubscribes are stored in the database and the contact is excluded from all future campaigns.
Tracking
For emails, Skuads tracks:
- opens (pixel),
- clicks on links (rewritten via a tracker),
- unsubscribes.
For SMS, clicks are also tracked (links are rewritten as Skuads short links).
Stats are shown on the Messaging page (Performance KPIs + Engagement section).
