Understand credit consumption
Credit cost of every action in the Skuads app.

Skuads uses a single credit pool: one balance you draw from based on the actions you trigger.

Monthly caps (Messaging page)
Independently from your credit balance, the app enforces anti-spam caps on the Messaging page:
- 500 emails / month maximum,
- 200 SMS / month maximum.
These counters are displayed in real time on Account → Usage and reset on the 1st of each month.
The automatic SMS reply for missed calls (Dexem) is not subject to this cap — it counts only against credits.
Admin behaviour
If you are a Skuads administrator (internal), your actions do not consume credits on customer sites. You can test freely without impacting their balance.
What happens when my balance hits zero?
- You see an error toast: "You have run out of credits. Please purchase more credits to continue.",
- generation buttons stay visible but no longer act until you top up,
- you can buy a pack or wait for the next monthly recharge (date shown on Account → Usage).
Proactive alerts
When you drop below 20% of your allocation, Skuads sends you an email notification so you can top up before running out (24h cooldown to avoid spam).
