Secure my account

Your account security protects your marketing data and customer information. Here are the essential settings.

1. Update your password

From Account > Profile, in the Update password section:

• enter your current password,
• enter a new password (8 characters minimum),
• confirm it in Confirm password,
• click Save.

The change takes effect immediately. Your other sessions remain active.

2. Two-factor authentication

In the Two-Factor Authentication section of your profile, click Enable to add a second authentication step. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app on your phone, then keep the recovery codes in a safe place. You can deactivate it at any time.

3. Verification by phone (SMS)

Skuads uses SMS verification as an additional layer of security:

• a one-time use code is sent to you when necessary,
• make sure your phone number is always up to date in your profile,
• if you change your number, update it before disconnecting.

4. Connected Google Accounts

Skuads connects to several Google services (Analytics, Ads, Business Profile, Local Service). Manage them from Settings > Connected accounts:

• check the connected Google account for each service,
• disconnect a Google account that you no longer use, then reconnect it via the self-service OAuth flow,
• if a token expires, Skuads will prompt you to reconnect the concerned service.

On a site created for you by the Skuads team, you can disconnect and reconnect a Google account but you cannot change the connection details. On a site you created yourself, you can also change the connection.

5. Browser Sessions

The Browser Sessions section of your profile lists your recent active sessions. Click Log out other browser sessions and confirm with your password to log out everywhere else. Best practices:

• disconnect when using a shared computer,
• never share your identifiers with anyone,
• if you suspect unauthorized access, update your password immediately.

6. General tips

• use a unique password for Skuads (do not reuse it on other services),
• keep your email and phone updated to receive security alerts,
• check your connected Google accounts regularly.
