Connect Google Ads

Link your Google Ads account to Skuads to track your campaign performance from the dashboard.

Updated May 15, 2026

Connect Google Ads to Skuads to report your campaign performance in the dashboard, alongside Google Business, Analytics, and Local Services data.

Prerequisites

  • An active Google Ads account with at least one campaign.
  • A Google account with read access to the Ads client ID you want to connect.
  • An active Skuads subscription or a current trial.

Where to connect

Open Connected Accounts from the Settings group in the sidebar. The page lists each integration available with a Connected or Not Connected badge. Google Ads connects self-service via Google Login. No need to contact our team.

  1. Open Connected Accounts from the Settings group in the sidebar.
  2. On the Google Ads line, click Connect.
  3. The Google Ads settings panel opens. Click Connect Google Ads.
  4. A Google login page opens. Sign in with the Google account that has access to your Ads customer ID and approve read access.
  5. Skuads takes you to a page titled Choose your Google Ads account.
  6. Select an Administrator Account from the drop-down menu. Skuads then loads the customer accounts accessible under this administrator. Choose the correct account from the Account Google Ads drop-down menu.
  7. Click Link this account.

Skuads only reads performance data. We do not modify campaigns, budgets or bids.

The selector

The Choose your account Google Ads page first asks for an Administrator account. Once chosen, Skuads loads the customer accounts accessible under this administrator so that you select the correct one. Use Cancel or Return to connected accounts to exit without connecting.

Permissions model

On a workspace created by an administrator, members cannot modify the linked Google Ads account. They can only Disconnect and then reconnect it via Google. On a workspace that the member created themselves, the member can change the linked account with Change linked account, or use Modify on the Connected accounts line.

What you see when logged in

Open Campaigns from the Acquisition group in the sidebar. The Overview tab displays the performance of your campaigns, and the Settings tab contains the connection.

Disconnect

Go to Connected Accounts, find Google Ads and click Disconnect. Confirm in the prompt. Stored credentials are deleted and Skuads stops retrieving new data. Cached historical data remains available for reference. You can log in again later via Google.

Troubleshooting

  • No clients accessible: the Google account you signed in with does not have access to any Google Ads clients under the chosen administrator. Ask the Ads account administrator to add you, then try another administrator account.
  • Performance data is empty: Customer ID may not have any recent campaigns, or permission needs to be refreshed. Disconnect, then reconnect via Google.
  • For any other questions, write to support@skuads.com.
