Connect Google Analytics
Link your Google Analytics 4 property to Skuads to track your website performance.

Prerequisites
- A Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property.
- A Google account with read access to this property.
- An active Skuads subscription or a current trial.
Log in
- Open Your connected accounts from the Settings group in the sidebar.
- On the Google Analytics line, click Connect.
- The Google Analytics settings panel opens. Click Connect Google Analytics.
- A Google login page opens. Sign in with the Google account that owns your GA4 property and approve read-only access to Analytics.
- Skuads takes you to a page titled Choose your Google Analytics account which lists the account/property pairs accessible from this Google account.
- Choose the property to link from the Google Analytics Account drop-down menu and click Link this account.
Skuads only reads aggregated metrics. We never see individual personal data of visitors.
Permissions model
On a workspace created by Skuads, members cannot edit the linked Google Analytics property. They can only Disconnect then reconnect it via Google. On a workspace that the member created themselves, the member can change the linked property using Edit on the Your connected accounts line.
What you see when logged in
Open Analytics from the sidebar. The Overview tab displays your website performance and the Settings tab contains the connection. Skuads caches data to avoid hitting your GA quota.
Disconnect
Go to Your connected accounts, find Google Analytics and click Disconnect. Confirm in the prompt. Stored identifiers are deleted and Skuads stops retrieving new data. Historical cached statistics remain available for reference. You can log in again later via Google.
Troubleshooting
- No properties found: The Google account you signed in with does not have any GA4 properties. Create one at analytics.google.com.
- Permission Denied: Your Google account must have at least the Reader role on the property. Check in GA4 under Admin, then Account Access Management.
