Connect Google Analytics

Link your property Google Analytics 4 to Skuads to track your website's performance.

Updated May 15, 2026

Skuads integrates with Google Analytics 4 to report your website traffic and visitor behavior in the dashboard.

Where to connect

Open Connected Accounts from the Settings group in the sidebar. The page lists each integration available with a Connected or Not Connected badge. Google Analytics connects self-service via Google Login. No need to contact our team.

  1. Open Connected Accounts from the Settings group in the sidebar.
  2. On the Google Analytics line, click Connect.
  3. The Google Analytics settings panel opens. Click Connect Google Analytics.
  4. A Google login page opens. Sign in with the Google account that owns your GA4 property and approve read-only access to Analytics.
  5. Skuads takes you to a page titled Choose your account Google Analytics which lists the account/property pairs accessible from this Google account.
  6. Choose the property to link from the Account Google Analytics drop-down menu and click Link this account.

Skuads only reads aggregated metrics. We never see individual personal data of visitors.

The selector

After the Google step, the Choose your account Google Analytics page displays the account/property pairs that Skuads can read. Choose that of this workspace and click on Link this account. Use Cancel or Return to connected accounts to exit without connecting.

Permissions model

On a workspace created by an administrator, members cannot modify the linked Google Analytics property. They can only Disconnect then reconnect it via Google. On a workspace that the member created themselves, the member can change the linked property with Change linked account, or use Modify on the Connected accounts line.

What you see when logged in

Open Analytics from the sidebar. The Overview tab displays your website performance and the Settings tab contains the connection. Skuads caches data to avoid hitting your GA quota.

Disconnect

Go to Connected Accounts, find Google Analytics and click Disconnect. Confirm in the prompt. Stored credentials are deleted and Skuads stops retrieving new data. Historical cached statistics remain available for reference. You can log in again later via Google.

Troubleshooting

  • No properties found: The Google account you signed in with does not have any GA4 properties. Create one at analytics.google.com.
  • Outdated statistics: GA4 can be up to 48 hours behind schedule. Skuads refreshes every few hours, so the most recent times may not be perfectly real-time.
  • Permission Denied: Your Google account must have at least the Reader role on the property. Check in GA4 under Admin, then Account Access Management.
