Manage your Google Business Profile photos
Upload photos to your Google Business Profile, or generate them with AI, and schedule them.
Updated May 15, 2026
Keeping fresh photos on your Google Business Profile improves your attractiveness and local visibility score. Skuads lets you upload your own photos or generate visuals with AI, and schedule them in just a few clicks.
Connect Google Business Profile
Photos require a connected Google Business Profile establishment. The connection is self-service:
- Open Connected Accounts from the sidebar.
- Find Google Business Profile and click Connect.
- Sign in with Google and approve the requested permissions.
- Choose the account and institution that Skuads should link, then confirm.
On sites created by an administrator, members cannot modify the linked account. They can only disconnect and reconnect it themselves via Google. On self-created accounts, the linked account can also be modified.
Access photo management
Go to Presence in the sidebar, then Google Business Profile, and open the Photos tab. The tab has two subviews: Published photos and Scheduled photos.
Add a photo
Click Add Image to open the upload screen. You can:
- Upload photos: choose your image files. Use JPG or PNG images for better Google visibility.
- Generate with AI: describe the desired image and Skuads generates options. AI image generation costs 15 credits per image. The screen displays your remaining AI image credits and allows you to select one or more generated images, or click Generate new variation.
After selecting your image, choose Publish Now or Schedule for Later and set the date and time for Publish on, then click Publish or Schedule.
Check scheduled photos
Photos scheduled for later posting appear under Scheduled in the Photos tab. You can change the scheduled date, post a scheduled photo now, or cancel it before it's sent.
Tips
- Update photos regularly: Recent photos signal to Google that your profile is active, which helps your visibility and local rankings.
- Vary the subjects: a profile with interior, exterior, team and product photos inspires more confidence.
- Take care of the quality: avoid blurry or dark photos. A sharp, well-lit image makes a better impression.
- Use AI wisely: generated images can complement your real photos but should not replace them entirely. Authentic photos of your business remain the most appreciated.
Troubleshooting
- Upload fails: check that your file is a supported image and not too large, then try again.
- Photos do not appear on Google: Google may take a few hours to index new photos. If they still don't appear after 24 hours, contact us at support@skuads.com.
- The Photos tab is missing: your Google Business Profile is not connected. Open Connected Accounts and connect Google Business Profile.
