Manage my contacts

Import, organize and segment your marketing contact base.

Updated May 15, 2026

The Contacts tab in Messaging (under Acquisition in the sidebar) centralizes all your marketing contacts. You can create them manually, import them in bulk and group them into segments for your campaigns.

Compliance Notice

The first time you add contacts, Skuads asks you to read and agree to a liability and compliance notice. You are solely responsible for ensuring the legality of your contact lists and obtaining valid prior consent from each contact. Skuads only acts as a technical service provider. You must accept this notice before adding contacts.

Add a contact manually

  1. Go to Acquisition, then Messaging, then the Contacts tab.
  2. Click Add Contact.
  3. Fill in the information: Name, Email, Phone, as well as Lead Status and optional Tags.
  4. Set the appropriate consents: Email Consent and SMS Consent.
  5. Click Add Contact to save.

Import contacts (CSV)

  1. In the Contacts tab, click Import CSV.
  2. Upload a file with the required columns: name, email, phone. Optional columns: lead_status, tags, consent_email, consent_sms.
  3. Confirm that you have valid consent from each contact.
  4. Start the import.

You can also click Import from Leads to retrieve contacts from your lead submissions.

Create segments

Segments allow you to precisely target your campaigns. They are located in the separate Segments tab of Messaging. See Creating and using contact segments for the complete guide.

Contact details

Click on a contact to open their profile, where you can view and edit their information, lead status, tags and consents, and delete the contact if necessary.

Unsubscription management

When a contact unsubscribes, their consent is automatically revoked and they are excluded from all future campaigns. Only reactivate a contact if they explicitly request it.
