Connect Google Local Services
Login is self-service and always authenticated through your Google login.
- Go to Acquisition in the sidebar, then Google Local Service, and open the Settings tab.
- If the account is not already connected, click Connect Google Local Service, sign in with the Google account that has access to your Local Services data, then approve the requested permissions.
- Back on the Settings tab, choose your Manager account from the drop-down menu. Select the manager account that manages your Local Services, or No manager (direct access) if your account accesses it directly.
- Choose your Customer ID from the drop-down menu: this is the ID of the Google Ads account to track. The list is populated based on the selected manager account.
- Click Save.
The badge then displays Connected. Use Disconnect this account to remove it.
On sites created by Skuads, members cannot change the login. They only see a status panel where they can log out and then ask Skuads to log the integration back in. Skuads and self-created account owners see the editable Manager Account and Customer ID form.
Open your Local Services data
Go to Acquisition in the sidebar, then Google Local Service. The page has these tabs:
- Preview. Performance dashboard with graphs.
- Leads. List of leads generated by your ads.
- Settings. Connection management: the Manager Account and Customer Identifier form for Skuads and self-created accounts, or a connection and disconnection status panel for members on sites created by Skuads.
Preview tab
The dashboard displays your Local Services performance for the selected period (last 30 days by default). Use the date range selector at the top of the page to change the period analyzed. A chart breaks down activity over time to spot trends.
Your Local Services campaigns are listed with a switch for each. Toggle it to pause a campaign (Campaign disabled) or restart it (Campaign enabled), directly from Skuads.
Leads tab
The Leads tab lists each contact generated by your Local Services ads. For each lead, you see:
- Phone number of the prospect,
- Lead type (call, message),
- Activity category,
- Billing status (billed or not billed),
- Date and time of receipt.
Filter the list by date range and billing status (All Billing Statuses, Billed Leads, Unbilled Leads) to quickly find a specific lead. Click Export to download the filtered leads.
Tips
- Respond quickly: check the Leads tab regularly and contact prospects without delay. Speed of response is a key factor in converting Local Services leads.
- Monitor your billing status: Compare billed leads to total leads to assess the return on your advertising investment.
Troubleshooting
- No data shown: The selected time period may not cover any activity, or the account may have just been connected. Recent leads appear as soon as Google reports them.
- Account not found automatically: check the Manager account selected in the Settings tab, choose the correct Customer ID from the drop-down menu, then click Save. If no manager account appears, reconnect with the Google account that manages your Local Services.
